Although we specialize in pendant lighting our electrical components can be configured to use as ceiling and wall lights. These components are essentially a ceiling rose and a lamp holder fixed together and then mounted to a surface be it the wall or the ceiling. No fabric cable is actually used, and the internal electrical workings within the wall are connected directly to this combination.
With this in mind there can be an endless number of combinations that can be made up for wall lights at Creative Cables. We have a full range of ceiling roses and lamp holders in a range of materials such as wood, silicone, metal and porcelain. Wood is very popular in eco sustainable friendly spaces and the porcelain for classic and historic spaces.
In addition to wall lights that are made up of components we also stock premade ready wall lights that have an addition of an angled arm between the ceiling rose and lamp holder. This allows from the direction of the bulb to be moved according to your needs. This is particularly popular for wall lighting in bathrooms over mirrors. The light is mounted above the mirror and instead of sticking straight out it can be bent downwards to create a beautiful look. This is also very useful to direct light towards the person who is using the mirror. This range comes in metal and wood finishes with white and chrome being a perfect design choice for many modern bathrooms.
Using lamp holders that have shade rinds add the advantage of adding lampshades. This allow our customers to express their own person flair in their lighting choices while still being able to swap lampshades down the track. To attach a shade to these lamp holders please ensure that your shade ring is the correct size to fit our lamp holders. Due to the international nature of our population Australia imports lampshade from all other the world. Here at Creative Cables our components are made in Italy, so we focus on the European lampshade size.
